A spider accidentally fell into a dry well that is 15 m high . The spider would get climbing up the well each day. Each day the spider managed to climb 5 m. However the rain would come in the evening and wash down the spider 4 m. How long would it possibly take that miserable creature out of the well.

The ans actually is 11 days
Solution:5-4=1m(per day)
thus the spider would take 10 days to reach a height of 10m. The rest of the 5m can be taken care of in 1 day so adding up the total no of days it is 11 days
why th rest of th 5m can be taken care of in one day? Never rain? I thought th answer was 15m.
well the spider jux eventually climbed out b4 it rained =)
