Dear 2e2,

As mentioned, you have the choice of preparing a self-reflection for me over this weekend. Many have asked, what's the title of this assignment?

Well, since it is a self-initiated assignment, i will allow any title you want, as long as it has got to do with Reflections. You can choose to write it out NEATLY or type it. I would prefer a typed-out version :> It's something like a mini individual project. You have the freedom to decide how to decorate it or present it.

Here's some guidelines..
1. Between 200 to 500 words, in sentence form.
2. The following questions can guide you through your reflection.
- What grade did you score this time round?
- Are you satisfied with it? Why?
- What have you done to prepare yourself for this Mid Year Paper?
- If you have improved, what contributes to this improvement?
For eg, more attention paid in class / private tuition / remedial classes / practising of school papers / doing homework on your own etc
- If your results have dropped, what are the possible causes?
- Have you been very careless? Research on how to minimise your careless mistakes.
- If you are unhappy with your results, what do you think you can do from now onwards to help you achieve your targeted grade? How are you doing to do the things you have suggested?
- Comments about Maths lessons, Maths homework, Maths file, Maths blog etc
- Any other feelings / suggestions / opinions etc

Please take this reflection seriously. Think how have your attitude changed from Sec 1 Day 1 to Sec 2 Term 2... have this change help you get better or worse results. It is only when you think seriously, then you will reflect upon your actions. You should be able to find out more about yourself and suggest some help that is beneficial to you. If I can help you in any new ways, please suggest.

I hope this assignment helps you to reflect and may this reflection stays in your mind for long. Remember it and take note not to make the same mistake again.

Once again, congratulations to all those who have made improvements! Keep on working hard. To those who are unhappy with your results, dont give up. Let this be a motivating factor to push you to putting in even more effort in Maths.

It has been a joy teaching your class, especially when i see the effort put in! Thank you.

Regards
Miss Gina
